GENERAL INFORMATION
The purpose of the Official Travel Program for Sydney Marathon is to provide international tour operators with competitive rates and terms by pooling global buying power.
RATES & AVAILABILITY
Rates listed in this travel program are indicative and subject to availably. We suggest sending your preferences as soon as possible to ensure availability of your preferred components. Your allocations will be confirmed within 7 days of receiving your request. Listed prices are NETT and are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Rates listed for the retail package Sydney Marathon International Travel Package are GROSS, commissionable at 10% and are in Australian Dollars (AUD). All bookings on this package are subject to availability at the time of booking.

By pooling our global buying power a selection of hotels have been provided with negotiated rates for the event period.
If you have a specific hotel you would like to contract or a rate you would like to achieve, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you to fulfill this requirement.

Arrival Day
Welcome to Sydney! Make your way from the airport to the hotel and check-in. Usually, hotel rooms are ready after 3:00 pm, if you arrive earlier you can leave your luggage at the hotel.
Between 10:00-3:00 pm a representative will be waiting in the lobby to greet you and answer any questions you might have.
Half day tour + Harbour Cruise
This morning after breakfast we take our half day sightseeing tour. The tour will conclude at the Sydney Running Show. Pick up your bib and explore the stalls before making your own way back to the hotel at your leisure.
This evening join our exclusive Sydney Marathon Harbour Cruise with runners from all over the world, for 2 hours you will enjoy the beauty of the harbour as you look back onto the Sydney skyline. The cruise will include substantial canapes and a drink on arrival.
Lite shake our run
This morning after breakfast you are welcome to join us for a light shake-out run along the harbour. This will be at an easy pace and is a chance to loosen your legs. It will be no longer than 5km (approx. 3 miles).
Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Consider booking the BridgeClimb, a hop-on hop-off pass or even a day tour to experience this wonderful city.
This evening we will enjoy a private pre-race dinner.
Race Day
Race day is here! After an early breakfast, make your way to the start line. Our representatives will be in the hotel lobby to provide guidance.
After the race, recharge in the recovery zone. Feel welcome to visit us at our exclusive tent, and make this the meet-up zone to find your family and friends.
In the afternoon we'll meet up for post-race celebrations, saying cheers to all of our runners on an amazing accomplishment!
Time to say goodbye
Unless you have booked extra nights with us then today is the day you check out of your room and we say thank you for joining us. It’s not goodbye but instead, we’ll see you next time.
